  3. When we went through these pictures as a group these pictures became my favorite. The neutral colors of the fifth picture and the shallow depth of field make this picture one of the best pictures I've ever seen in this class. I love it.

  4. The first picture is a bit on the dark side. It should be one setting longer.
The second picture has a lot of blank sky that isn't adding much.
In the third picture, the waves obviously have a nice texture, but I can't see it, and it could use a bit more focus.
The fourth picture has a nice mixture of colours, but the the leaves in the foreground aren't entirely in focus.
The fifth picture, that brown is such a nice offset from the rest of the set. I would try to get one photo in every set that has a completely different colour range than the others.
I like the smiling seal. Happiness is a wonderful element in art.

    5) This is my favorite picture, it is really clear and pretty.
    6) I can see the depth of field in this photo.

  6. 1. The blue is really juxtaposed with the plants.
    2. I enjoy seeing the view of the cliff and the house to the right of the photograph. Makes the human eye work. I would of croped out the plants in the middle of the foreground however
    3. I like looking at the waves coming towards land, I think the plant in the middle interferes with the water.
    4. I really love juxtaposition between the green, yellow and red. Very shallow.
    5. I don't like the plant, but how you framed it in the camera really brings life.
    6. The Seal is really cute.

  8. 1.I like how there is a trail of foam in the water, but I would have edited out some of the grass.
2.I like how you shot it portrait style, I would have made the water more blue.
3.I like how silky the waves look, I would have cropped out some of the branches that are sticking up.
4.I really like the different colors, I would have given it a deeper DOF.
5.I like how the background is blurry.
6.I like how the seal is smiling, I would have made the picture darker.

  10. 1. Love the blur in the foreground against the raging waves.

    2. Wow. Where to begin. Everything about this. I LOVE how you shot it portrait style, the texture, rule of thirds, blurred foreground. I'm in awe.

    3. Nice silky waves folding over. Great use of the rule of thirds. A little more color adjustments.

    4. Wonderful texture. I love how each leaf goes in a different direction. Wonderful colors and great linear lines.

    5. This is wonderful. From the soft lighting, crisp textures, great composition, clever angle. Amazing, I don't have anything bad to say.
    6. What a nice photo! Very unique! I would have liked to have seen a little more color without the shadows.

  11. Good Job Ara! I REALLY like your pictures:
On the first picture I like the waves, however I personally don't like the foam.

When I first saw the second picture I thought that it was taken professionally. I really like the house and the angles of the cliff.

I think the third picture was well framed, also I personally like the random branches that stick up as a kind of rule of thirds rule breaker.

The fourth picture is just incredible. The colors are so vibrant that it almost takes my breath away. The one thing I would change is that I would use just a little deeper depth of field so that we see the textures of the leaves.

I love the detail of the fifth picture. It feels like it belongs on the front of a science or nature magazine. A like the brown and yellows of the background.

The sixth picture is different, I like the seal idea. This is the first picture in this photography class of animals. It is just so different from my everyday life that it makes me want to sit back and study it for a long time. I also like how the seal's coat shines.

  13. 1. This picture was shoot by good moment, sea wave follow sea breeze.
    2. I deem this picture has good to arrange color.
    3. The plants have a big contrast with sea wave on the color.
    4. I think this is a good choice to shoot, the leaves are so pretty.
    5. Give me a kind of feel that is so sentimental.
    6. He is so cute! That was shoot by good moment.
